One Small Step
Before Digital Bolex launched to the world, the technology needed rigorous testing under circumstances that it was intended for. We shot One Small Step for this purpose. The film was screened at Cannes film festival and a Digital Bolex promotional screening in LA.
Synopsis: After her brother dies in the Vietnam War, a young girl searches for the meaning of life with the help of her teddy bear.
About the film: ONE SMALL STEP is the first film shot on the new Digital Bolex D16. The film was shot on the camera prototype in November/December of 2011, and premiered at the 2012 Cannes Short Film Corner. It has also played at the Montgomery International Film Festival, the Alabama Black Film Festival, and is pending play at a number of other festivals. Colored with Adobe After Effects.
