Miscreants

Rarely in a filmmakers life does a client come to them and say, we would like you to shoot anything you want. In this case, that is exactly what happened. ZEISS needed footage for an upcoming trade show display and asked me to create something beautiful, lyrical, and in slow motion. I worked with dancer and choreographer Olga Sokolova, and fashion designer Victor Wilde of the Bohemian Society brand, and what we came up with was a 55 minute narrative film told completely through dance. Miscreants is about a group of orphaned girls living on the streets by their wits, who eventually gain a mother figure from the least likely place.
