The Dancer and the D16
One of the great joys of being a photographer or filmmaker is capturing amazing performances, and Olga Sokalova is one of the greatest performers I have gotten the honor to capture in motion. This spot was created for Digital Bolex to show how the camera treated movement and skin tones.
Dancer Olga Sokolova has been featured in numerous television commercials, feature films, and recorded performances, but never felt the cameras used on these productions truly captured the timing and nuance of her body movements. Learn how she feels about the D16 in this documentary portrait.
